Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in-Ps. 24:7
The last juice meeting was marvelous! There was such a beautiful spirit of breakthrough and deliverance that flowed throughout the apartment as we worshipped and cried out unto the Lord in repentance and thanksgiving. There really is beauty in fellowship. This was seen so clearly at the meeting as we shared stories of the first completed week of the fast. We are all struggling with something, being tested- somehow…and even hungry for something outrageous at some point during the day, but what echoed throughout our conversations was God’s amazing way of keeping us. It is in these most vulnerable times do we discover WHO and WHOSE we are.
We also experimented with juicing vegetables and walked away with some useful tips to take your vegetable mixture from disgusting to a drink that may just leave you licking your lips.
* Juice with carrots, they have a natural sweet taste and help
* Add pieces of fruit (apple, pineapple or grapes) to help sweeten the taste.
Feeling adventurous? Try a cucumber, broccoli, celery and green apple concoction. Or strawberries, tomatoes and pineapple for something sweeter.
Sonia drove all the way from Charlotte, NC to fellowship with us and surprised her prayer partner! Praise God!
If you have not joined us at a juice meeting- what are you waiting for? Whether it be for the “food”, the fellowship or the presence of God…I am certain you will walk away with your cup over-flowing!
Into marvelous light I’m running, out of darkness, out of shame. By the cross you are the truth, you are the light, you are the way…
