What really stood out to me today about this chapter is that Christ can only dwell in our hearts through faith, through nothing else but faith. And Paul's prayer is that we may have the power to grasp the love of Christ. That is huge to me! It takes power to be able to grasp the love of Christ verse 19 says that this love surpasses all knowledge, we can't know it naturally! This is a spiritual matter! After someone asked Jesus "What must we do to do the works that God requires?" Jesus says this: “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” (John6:28-29) It sounds simple but it is not! Believing that it is already done and that there is no proving ourselves is hard, my self-righteousness(filthy-rags Isaiah 64:6) are not what qualify me(nor my lack thereof disqualify me) to be a Son of God, believing it what does it! What grace!!!!
