  1. Being wary of the company we keep, we must love and be pleased with God's Word. Obedience in the Word is the foundation and so constantly thinking about God's Word throughout the day is essential. This will ensure steadfastness no matter what is going on.

Steadfastness no matter what is what I am definitely concerned with at this point. The rise and fall of God's people concerns me, and warns me that there is no "safe point" in Christ.

  2. What does everyone think it Means to Stand in the Way of Sinners?

This section of scripture has revealed a flaw in my own life. The Blessed man, rejoices in the Law of the Lord and is thinking about it Day and Night. This is not a representation of what my life looks like. Constantly thinking about the word of God. Since reading this passage of scripture. I've been moved to ask God to help me to rejoice in His word and constantly meditate on it and then try to actually do it. It feels like a new territory I'm diving into.

Has anybody been moved to pray differently or do something different in their spiritual walk since memorizing and studying this scripture?

  4. I believe "to stand in the way of sinner's" mean's to posture yourself the way that sinner's do. Taking on the false reality that you are still something that you've been redeemed from.

To walk, to stand, to sit.. these are all taking on a position.

The man who doesn't do this is blessed. But it's like, all of these work together, hand in hand. Because this man, who isn't postured this way, He is instead delighting in the law of the Lord. day and night, and this posture is what keeps him from assuming the old position. Psalm 119:11

I've been constantly convicted lately, fromthe REALITY of where I am,and How I line up against the simply stated stautes of the Lord. The one I claim to Love, but my actions state otherwise.

He's ignited an urgency inside...I can feel it.. NO MORE TIME to wait..and to not be obedient. And I been moved to read more. As this verse calls for, night AND day... it's proving to be a real challenge.

I've been moved to pray for more accountabilty. And to actually pray the scriptures..like as i read, I find myself analysing them differently, and assessing where i fall, according to what's desired form Him. I'm finding more often than not, i don't measure up.. but oh His grace. :) His grace is revealing it, and our job is to walk in it.

What do you all think it means verse 5. " Therefore the wicked will not stand in judgement, "

  5. A TREE...."which yields it's fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither."
I feel like being fruitful is a huge part of our lives as followers of Jesus, and in this verse God is laying out a plan to do so. My life experience also proves how accurate this verse is.

  6. I think standing in the way of sinners is still operating according to "reality" when the truth is that true reality is Spirituality and our actions should reflect that. We should be walking in THE WAY of Christ not of sinners. I think the way of sinners is the opposite of Kingdom driven thoughts and actions.

The wicked will not stand in the judgment. I believe has to do with these scriptures

    Daniel7:21-22

As I watched, this horn was waging war against the saints and defeating them, until the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came when they possessed the kingdom.

1 Corinthians 6:2-3 Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!
